International Shipping FAQ (Customs & Duties)

Where do you ship from?

All Marlo the Label orders are packed and shipped from our warehouse in Chinderah, Northern Rivers (NSW), Australia.

Are your pieces designed in Australia?

Yes, all Marlo the Label pieces are designed in Australia.

Will I have to pay customs duties and import taxes?

Possibly. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, depending on your country’s regulations.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are outside of our control.

Do USA customers have to pay customs duties?

Yes, due to recent regulatory changes, orders shipped to the USA may now be subject to customs and import duties.

If duties apply, DHL will contact you via email with the amount due.

We are working to minimise these charges, however the amount will vary depending on your order and local customs processing.

When and how do I pay customs fees?

If customs charges apply, your courier (DHL and/or UPS) will contact you directly with instructions.

To avoid any potential customs storage fees, we recommend paying any applicable duties promptly once your order arrives.

Are customs delays included in shipping timeframes?

No. Shipping timeframes do not include time spent in customs.

International orders may experience delays due to customs processing or other factors outside of DHL Express and/or UPS control.

What happens if I don’t pay customs?

If customs duties apply and the customer chooses not to pay them, the order may be marked as Return to Sender after a few days and shipped back to our warehouse in Australia.

In this unlikely scenario, a flat rate of $150 AUD will be deducted from the refund amount.

This fee covers part of the associated costs of return shipping, plus any customs and duties charges incurred.
